  • New Music!!!
  • Holy crap – so I went through the CDs waiting to be reviewed and found some that someone already reviewed, but never put in the booth.  So here’s the most recent additions:

    Immortal Technique: The 3rd World

    Clark: Turning Dragon

Young and Sexy: Panic When You Find It

    Black Friday: 4

Pony Up: Make Love to the Judges with Your Eyes

    Electrelane: Axes’

We’ve got some awesome CDs in the Music Director Office to be reviewed.  Just a quick look there’s Keane, Snow Patrol, Dr. Dog, Alien, and a whole bunch of others.  We need Music Director’s to get through this stuff – if you are interested in reviewing music this is what you should do.

    1.  Stop by my office

    2.  Pick up some CDs and a sheet of mailing labels from the top left-hand drawer of the desk

    3.  Write your review on the label and affix the label to the CD’s packaging, make sure you include a list of recommended track

    4.  Bring the CDs back to the Music Director Office and leave them on the desk if they’re goo.  If they’re not so good, put them in the box on the floor.  Take some more CDs and repeat.

    See you all around!

  • Review Music
  • Hey Everyone!
I know it’s finals and all, but thinking ahead to the great crazy amazing awesome summer time, I wanted to let you all know that I surprisingly will be doing work at the station over the summer and if anyone wants to come in and actually help out by either reviewing that massive backlog we have or by helping me organize the CDs in the booth (yet again) that would be super.  I’ll probably be on campus everyday of the week, doing research and taking a class, but I’ll definitely be in the station on Tuesdays from 11-12.
So hang out at the station or avoid the station for that hour – your choice.
We also still have a few Music Director spots still open – so if you’re interested, let me know.
